RTK Precision was founded by myself, Andy Ireland, to become the UK's specialist in Precision Farming with RTK.
I graduated in 2002 with a Degree from Silsoe College, Cranfield University, which as well as being the home of Agricultural Engineering in the UK since the 1950's was also the centre for Precision Farming.
At Silsoe I first carried out variable seed rate drilling trials in 1998 which was being developed for Massey Ferguson, using an early DGPS correction signal.
In recent years I've built and installed many RTK base stations, added section control to sprayers and seed drills and installed Autosteer systems from Canbus steer ready, retrofitted hydraulic valves or electric steering wheels.
With everything we do, its the support we offer that sets us apart, we specise in Precision farming and RTK so can maintain focus and being farmers ourselves we use the products day in day out.
